Join the One Billion Step Challenge & Support Life-Saving
Breast Cancer Research
This year, the World Health Organization announced breast cancer is now the most common cancer in the world. It’s also estimated
this year more than 27,000 Canadians will be diagnosed with breast cancer. For 30 years, the Breast Cancer Society of Canada has
funded life-saving research for the prevention, detection and treatment of breast cancer. Great advancements have been made, but
there is still more to do. We’re asking all Canadians to take steps to help find a cure by registering for the One Billion Steps
Challenge. Stay active every day in May and have your steps count towards our One Billion Steps Goal.
Challenge your family, friends and colleagues!
Register today to set up up your Team Challengers and start fundraising. Before May 1st we’ll send you a link to download the
mobile app to track your progress and ranking against the entire pool of participants and to share your achievements on social
media. There is no cost to join and there are some great prizes, PLUS a grand prize for our top fundraisers! This May, do
something good for yourself while also doing something to help prevent 14 Canadian women from dying of breast cancer every day.
